Fossilized Woolly Mammoth Tusk is a genuine Ice Age material that carries the history of an animal that once roamed the ancient northern landscape. Mammoths used their long, curved tusks to scrape snow and ice away from vegetation, defend themselves from predators, compete for mates, and display dominance within the herd.
After thousands of years of natural preservation, the fossilized tusk is stabilized under immense pressure to strengthen the material and make it suitable for our precision inlay work. It is then carefully cut, shaped, and polished by our craftspeople.
Its natural colors can range from clean white and softly clouded white to warm browns, honey, and rich caramel tones. These colors and patterns develop through age, mineralization, and the conditions surrounding the tusk during preservation.
Every section has its own color, grain, and history, ensuring that no two finished pieces will ever be exactly alike.
Copper and Brass Wave-Pattern Damascus with VG-10 Core
This striking Damascus blade is built around a VG-10 stainless-steel cutting core for sharpness, edge retention, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. Layers of copper, brass, and stainless steel create a flowing wave pattern with warm metallic contrast, giving every blade an individual appearance. The layered cladding supports and protects the cutting core while combining dependable performance with a bold decorative finish.
